Veeam to Jointly Develop AI Solutions with Microsoft for Industry’s #1 Data Protection

Veeam® Software, the top leader in market share for Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery, has officially announced an extended five-year strategic partnership with Microsoft. This collaboration aims to drive innovation in customer protection by integrating Veeam’s product family with Microsoft Copilot and AI services.

Beyond joint innovation efforts, the partnership will introduce data protection solutions for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure, utilizing the recently unveiled Veeam Data Cloud. Over the course of several years, through an extensive engineering collaboration, Veeam and Microsoft will work together to enhance capabilities, enabling organizations to maintain operations in the face of rising cybersecurity threats, outages, and natural disasters. The synergy between Veeam’s leading backup and recovery capabilities and Microsoft’s extensive innovation and scale is poised to empower customers in ensuring cyber resiliency.
