Telkom’s unwavering dedication to delivering outstanding products and services introduces exciting new opportunities for its customers. Starting March 28, Telkom, renowned as South Africa’s premier network for value, proudly announced its collaboration with Amazon to provide Prime Video and Prime Video Mobile Edition to its clientele.

Under this initiative, customers who opt for a new Telkom Mobile FlexOn or Infinite plan, whether Post-paid or Top Up, can partake in this promotion. Depending on the selected plan, customers stand to benefit from a promotional period ranging from 1 to 12 months of Prime Video Mobile Edition, courtesy of Telkom. Moreover, existing Mobile Postpaid and Top Up subscribers are also eligible for promotional durations ranging from 3 to 12 months, thanks to Telkom’s generosity.

Throughout the 12-month promotional period, existing customers will receive timely notifications via SMS or email, ensuring they are informed when this offer becomes available to them. Telkom remains committed to enhancing the customer experience, making entertainment more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Additionally, Mobile Prepaid users recharging with R99 or more within a calendar month will benefit from a generous 3-month Prime Video Mobile Edition promotional offer, courtesy of Telkom. Subscriptions for Prime Video Mobile Edition auto renew after the promotional period at R29 per month. 

Prime Video Mobile Edition is a dedicated video subscription service tailored for mobile devices. It allows customers to enjoy the entire Prime Video catalogue on their mobile phones via the Prime Video app anytime and anywhere. With a Prime Video Mobile Edition subscription, customers can stream popular movies and TV shows, including Amazon Originals such as LOL: Last One Laughing South AfricaThe Grand Tour, Reacher and many more.  

Prime Video Mobile Edition includes unlimited on-demand streaming of blockbuster hits and award-winning Amazon Originals, exclusive mobile design for anytime, anywhere viewing, downloading content for offline watching, an ad-free experience, and viewing in standard definition (SD) quality. It’s the perfect solution for those who prefer an optimised mobile viewing experience.  

New and existing Fibre, Mobile LTE Post-paid or Top Up customers qualify for three months of Prime Video courtesy of Telkom. Existing customers will receive advance notification via SMS or email when this offer becomes available to them during the 12-month promotional period.  Subscriptions for Prime Video auto renew after the promotional period at R79 per month. 

Prime Video is Amazon’s premier video subscription service, granting customers access to the entire Prime Video catalogue from their favourite devices. Customers can create up to six profiles on a single Amazon account, with the ability for three separate devices to stream Prime Video simultaneously.
