Senegalese fintech startup Nixacom has launched Auto Apply, a digital onboarding platform designed to help financial institutions and other organisations replace slow, paper-based customer onboarding processes with automated digital workflows. Founded in October 2023 by CEO Cheikh Gueye, CFO Elhaji Fall, and CTO Wangel Yohannes, Nixacom initially focused on improving access to technology financing, enabling individuals and businesses to acquire smartphones, laptops, tablets, and other premium technology products through flexible financing solutions.

As the company expanded, the team identified another challenge affecting many institutions across Africa. While access to capital remains important, inefficient onboarding systems continue to slow customer acquisition, identity verification, and application processing.

This led Nixacom to develop Auto Apply, a platform designed to simplify onboarding procedures that still rely heavily on manual administration.

Reducing Paperwork and Repetitive Tasks

Many organisations still require customers to complete multiple forms containing the same information, while staff spend considerable time re-entering data, verifying identities, and preparing supporting documentation. These processes increase operational costs and can create delays that frustrate customers.

Auto Apply addresses these challenges through a single digital workflow that collects customer information once and automatically generates the required documents and contracts. The platform also includes real-time identity verification, helping institutions meet compliance requirements while reducing administrative workloads.

According to Nixacom, processes that previously took hours or even days can now be completed within minutes, with onboarding files automatically organised and delivered in a structured format.

Demand Growing for Faster Customer Onboarding

Financial institutions, lenders, and service providers across Africa are investing in technologies that reduce administrative workloads and improve customer service. At the same time, evolving regulatory requirements are increasing the need for systems that can manage compliance without slowing down onboarding processes.

Digital onboarding tools are becoming increasingly important for organisations looking to reduce paperwork, speed up application processing, and provide a more convenient customer experience.

Working with Financial Institutions

Nixacom says it is already working with financial institutions to deploy Auto Apply, with early feedback pointing to strong demand for solutions that improve efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The company joins a growing number of African technology firms developing software that helps organisations manage customer onboarding, identity verification, and document processing more efficiently.
