TaxTim’s value lies in guiding users through tax returns in plain English, helping remove jargon and anxiety from the process.

Daniel explains that TaxTim is not positioned against SARS, but instead works alongside it to help more people become compliant and comfortable with filing. He notes that while SARS has improved through auto assessments and data integration, many taxpayers still feel nervous when they receive verification letters or are asked to explain additional income.
