NCC chief to speak at the event

The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr Aminu Maida, will attend the roundtable as the Special Guest of Honour. Maida will discuss how telecommunications support digital financial services. He will also look at how more Nigerians are using mobile devices for payments and banking.

The roundtable will examine digital payments, cybersecurity, regulation and the infrastructure that supports reliable financial services. Speakers will also discuss how government and private companies can improve access, particularly in rural and underserved communities.

As the market grows, companies face more pressure to meet regulatory requirements, protect customer data and deliver reliable services. Organisers have placed these issues high on the agenda for the roundtable.
