Microsoft 365 users across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) have experienced issues with the platform since approximately 13:00 this afternoon, encountering difficulties accessing various software and cloud-based services provided by the developer.
According to Microsoft 365 Status on X, the company is actively investigating reports of the issue affecting some users in the EMEA region. The status update advises users to follow the SI MO737187 in their admin center for further details. The majority of reports have originated from South Africa and the United Kingdom.
Downdetector by Ookla’s South African domain recorded 6,489 reports by 13:32, with a significant proportion (72%) of issues being related to the email services tool Outlook.
As of now, no estimated time frame has been provided for the resolution of the issues, leaving users in the affected regions awaiting further updates and solutions from Microsoft.
