iStore has introduced the MacBook Neo, a new Mac aimed at expanding access to Apple’s in house silicon platform. The device combines Apple silicon performance with a 13-inch Liquid Retina display and an aluminium chassis offered in four colours. The launch reflects Apple’s ongoing effort to extend its chip architecture across a wider range of devices, targeting users who need reliable computing performance for study, professional work and everyday digital tasks.

Performance and Battery Life

At the centre of the MacBook Neo is Apple’s A18 Pro chip, which handles workloads such as spreadsheet management, photo editing, video streaming and business applications. The laptop is designed with portability in mind, offering battery life of up to 16 hours under typical usage conditions. This places the device within the category of lightweight systems built for continuous work and study without frequent charging.

PC Buy Back and Upgrade Options

The launch also ties into iStore’s efforts to attract users transitioning from traditional PC laptops. Through its PC Buy Back programme, customers with qualifying devices can trade in older machines when switching to a MacBook Neo. The initiative, which becomes available from 11 March 2026, aims to lower the barrier for customers considering a move from Windows-based systems to Apple’s ecosystem.

Trade-in programmes are also available for existing Mac and PC owners looking to upgrade. Customers can apply the value of their current laptop toward the purchase of a new device, potentially reducing the cost of moving to a newer Mac. iStore also offers its iCare protection plan, which extends coverage beyond Apple’s standard warranty and provides additional protection for Mac devices over a longer period.

Business Support and Availability

For small businesses, iStore says Mac purchases include additional services intended to support long-term device management. These include an extended three-year warranty and access to technical assistance designed to help organisations maintain productivity as teams adopt new hardware.

Beyond hardware, the retailer is placing greater emphasis on its support ecosystem. Customers can browse Apple products, compare models and complete purchases through the iStore mobile app, while in-store Apple specialists remain available to assist with device selection, setup and data transfers.

MacBook Neo is now available through iStore retail outlets nationwide and through the company’s online store. The device enters a growing segment of lightweight laptops built around Apple silicon, as manufacturers continue to expand their offerings in the premium portable computing market.
