Suzuki Launches All-New Dzire in South Africa
Suzuki Auto South Africa has launched the latest generation of the Suzuki Dzire sedan, introducing a bold new design, upgraded features, and improved practicality for local motorists. Unveiled on May 12, 2025, the new Dzire targets both budget-conscious buyers and the booming e-hailing market thanks to its efficient performance and spacious design.
Fresh Design on a Proven Platform
Built on Suzuki’s Heartect platform, the Dzire shares its footprint with the latest Swift. However, it stands out with its distinct styling. Unlike the previous model, which closely resembled the Swift hatchback, the 2025 Dzire features a different exterior that includes narrow projector headlamps, a prominent front grille, and T-shaped LED taillights. As a result, it establishes a unique identity in the compact sedan class.
Efficient and Practical Performance
Under the hood, the Dzire runs on a naturally aspirated 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 60 kW and 112 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a five-speed manual gearbox or a smooth continuously variable transmission (CVT), depending on the trim level. Therefore, both options deliver fuel-efficient, reliable performance ideal for daily commuting or ride-hailing use Read more here
Comfort-Oriented Interior Features
Inside, the Dzire offers a comfortable cabin with a two-tone beige and black finish. Moreover, higher-spec models add a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, and rear air vents. Consequently, drivers and passengers enjoy an upgraded experience during every ride.
Stronger Focus on Safety
Suzuki has also improved safety across the range. Notably, all models now include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESP), ABS with EBD, and hill-hold assist. In addition, rear parking sensors come standard, making city driving easier and safer.
Competitive Pricing and Support
Starting at R224,900, the new Dzire delivers strong value. Furthermore, each model includes a 5-year/200,000 km warranty and a 2-year/30,000 km service plan. As such, buyers gain added peace of mind with their purchase.
With its appealing mix of style, practicality, comfort, and safety, the 2025 Suzuki Dzire gives South African drivers the opportunity to decide whether it becomes a top contender for affordability and everyday usability. Whether for personal use or ride-hailing services, the new Dzire is expected to once again earn its place as a popular choice on local roads.
