Outlook for Windows to Add 30 New Features

According to Windows report, Outlook for Windows will be receiving new updates later in the year. Microsoft plans on releasing 30 new features to address issues raised by users.

One of the new updates will include support for Personal Storage Table Files (PST files), where if old emails are saved in PST format, users will be able to access them within the new Outlook app. This will enable better control on how long emails stay in their server and will purportedly allow users to manage their emails efficiently.

Another new feature is the ability to pin folders to the top of the app ensuring that folders are easily accessible. This will assist better file organization and improving overall email management experience.

AI-powered tools are also being added to the app to modernize email experience. The AI tool that will be implemented on Outlook is called Copilot that will assist in drafting emails, providing suggestions, and will even be capable of rewriting parts of messages before you hit send.

The feature is designed to help create clear and more effective communication, particularly when sending important or sensitive emails. These improvements indicate Microsoft’s commitment to enhancing Outlook and ensuring it is more usable.
