Khusela Business Intelligence Technologies (KBIT), an award-winning Systems Integrator and Value-Added Reseller (VAR) across Africa, is pleased to announce the appointment of Avhaathu Rathogwa as its new Managing Director (South Africa).
Avhaathu, whose career spans over 20 years, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, and she will play a critical role in driving the company’s strategic objectives to the next level and accelerating key growth areas. Having held numerous senior management positions prior to joining the team, her extensive career includes serving as the Chief Revenue Officer of Sizwe IT, Group Sales and Marketing Director at Servest and Executive Head: SME/Indirect Channel at Vodacom Business (Vodafone Global Enterprise) among other notable roles. With decades worth of dedicated experience leading IT projects at both senior management and executive levels, Rathogwa is poised to offer a unique and invaluable perspective to KBIT.
Her successful track record in guiding teams across sales, marketing, digital transformation, telecommunications, and IT underscores her capability to drive innovation and deliver results. As she joins KBIT during a pivotal moment, Rathogwa is primed to contribute to the company’s continued growth and success as it strives to meet the evolving needs of businesses throughout Africa from its headquarters in Johannesburg.

Throughout her illustrious 20-year career, Avhaathu has amassed a plethora of accolades, including a master’s degree in Knowledge Management: Leadership and Decision-making Strategy from the University of Stellenbosch. Complementing this, she holds a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Industrial Psychology from the University of South Africa. To further hone her leadership and management prowess, Avhaathu actively engaged in various leadership programs offered by the Wits Business School and the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
