Ford launches Everest Tremor in Australia

Ford has revealed the Everest Tremor in Australia, and it is set to grow the adventure ready model for off-road enthusiast and weekend warriors.

This new model has a couple designs and performance features with the Ranger Tremor and has been manufactured for drivers who passionate about adventure.

The exterior is featured with a new honeycomb grille, a steel bash plate, and a heavy-duty sidestep, and an eye catchy orange Tremor badges against the Command Gray paint that gives the vehicle a certain look which is both stylish and functional.

Inside the Tremor is leather seat, all-weather floor mats, an ebony-coloured inserts, creating a cabin that is both tough and comfortable.

The standout feature of the Everest Tremor is the black wheels which are fitted with General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain tires designed to improve grip on rough terrain. These wheels work in tandem with Bilstein Position-Sensitive Dampers and a new design of springs. The SUV’s ground clearance is increased by 26 mm and the vehicle includes a Rock Crawl mode, just like the Ranger Raptor.

The Tremor is a 3.0-litre turbodiesel V6 engine, which also powers the Ranger Platinum. The engine produces 184 kW at 3,240 r/min and 600 N.m of torque at 1,750r/min and delivers a substantial power for off-road adventures. The Everest’s power is managed by a 10-speed automatic transmission that powers all four wheels. The vehicle has a 3,500 kg maximum braked towing capacity, which makes it the perfect choice for towing and heavy-duty tasks.

The packages that are available to customize the Everest Tremor, include the Rough Terrain Pack with off-road accessories from ARB, and a Touring, Premium Seat, and Towing packs.

The SUV is already available to order through Australia’s  dealers and is set to enter production in November 2024.
