With the endorsement of President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, the forum sought to address the challenges facing the nation while presenting a vision for sustainable economic growth. The gathering brought together a diverse mix of public officials, private sector leaders, and institutional stakeholders to foster collaboration and ignite interest in the DRC’s vast opportunities.

The “Invest in DRC” forum served as a vibrant platform for meaningful dialogue, with participants exploring innovative ways to harness the country’s resources and expand its economic potential. The event emphasized fostering partnerships between French investors and Congolese stakeholders, aiming to reshape perceptions and pave the way for future investments.

Alpha Nury, Founder of Jaamafunding, expressed enthusiasm about the forum, stating, “What captivated me most about Invest in DRC was the chance to connect with other stakeholders from public institutions, private enterprises, and investors. It was also a fantastic opportunity to brainstorm on projects and strategize for the future.”

The forum’s key message cantered on creating a supportive environment for investors, ensuring their ventures thrive in the DRC. Government Spokesperson Patrick Muyaya underscored the nation’s commitment, saying, “We are dedicated to supporting all investors, ensuring their ventures flourish and yield the expected returns. Those who invest 10 dollars in the DRC today could see that grow to 100 dollars in five years, thanks to our large population and the myriad opportunities available. It’s time to move past the misconceptions about risks.”

Tony Parker who is the prominent advocate for the initiative, shared his vision for elevating the DRC’s global profile. “My goal is to elevate the country’s profile on the global stage while also investing locally. I aim to establish an academy and contribute to sports and entertainment. We have many exciting plans ahead,” Parker remarked.

The Congolese authorities presented a clear roadmap for growth, emphasizing collaboration and innovation as pillars of the nation’s economic transformation. By attracting international investors and fostering local initiatives, the DRC aims to unlock its vast potential, positioning itself as a hub for development in Africa and beyond.
