The move signals strong institutional confidence in Africa’s early-stage ecosystem.
- Mastercard has announced a new partnership with South African fintech Scale (which recently raised $700,000 in new funding) to expand card-issuing capabilities across the continent. The partnership gives Scale access to Mastercard’s global network and compliance infrastructure, strengthening its position in cross-border and domestic card solutions.
