BMW has taken the wraps on the M5 Touring, which is the new model with a wagon body style. This is the third generation of its high-performance station wagon and is based on the recently G90 M5 sedan.

The new M5 Touring model follows the modern BMW M design style, and showoff the large kidney grille, sharp LED headlight, and strong body lines. The backend of the car has a slim taillight and a diffuser that holds four exhaust outlets, confirming the vehicles sporty character.

The BMW M5 Touring is a hybrid 4.4-litre V8 engine that produces 535 kW and 1000 N.m of torque. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission of power on all four wheels, with an option to enable rear wheel drive for an exciting driving experience. It has a 0-100 km/h speed which goes in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of more than 305 km/h and has 1,630 litres of space for luggage with the rear seats down.

The increase in weight on the M5 Touring is part of the added reinforcement for the chassis, required because of the larger size of the new base of the G90 M5 which is 450kg more than the previous F90. The vehicle receives an enhancement in chassis, suspension, steering and structural parts, like the M5 sedan. It come with a standard adaptive suspension, for-wheel steering, and a unique M differential. The car rides on 20 and 21-inch alloy wheels, with optional carbon ceramic brakes.

The inside of the M5 features a digital instrument cluster and a large central multimedia screen. M-specific sports seats provide ample lateral support, and the inclusion of advanced amenities such as a head-up display and quad zone climate control.

The M5 Touring has always had a distinct position in the automotive world. This new version improves the strengths of the previous model, providing an attractive option for drivers looking for a mix of performance, functionality, and luxury.
