Day3 of the Black Friday week, showed that Wednesday (27 Nov) had the highest value of transactions processed for the week so-far with total value up by 11% on Tuesday’s total value.

The Ecentric Black Friday Dashboard also indicated that the hourly number of transaction total broke its high point for the week – breeching the 200 000 level in two hour periods of the day yesterday that occurred between the lunch time shopping hours of 12H00 and 13H00, and 13H00 and 14H00 yesterday.

Total transaction volume for the 27th November was 1,875 million transactions processed compared to around 1,7 on Tuesday (26th Nov), with the largest single transaction for the day at R214 520.

The average transaction value grew slightly to R456, with an average of 1304 transaction per minute processed over the day.
